ISLAMABAD: People of the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi have rejected energy prices leading to inflation.
They chanted slogans against the present government and said, “This experienced government has failed to deliver. Citizens told World Echo News, “We are confused about what to do. Should we use our cars or buy bicycles? Government is pushing us towards the stone age.”
Another household lady said, “These politicians should leave us and this country alone; no matter who is ruling in this country, the sufferings of the poor never come to an end. This is our country; they should leave and give us our country back.”
A student from Peshawar, who was studying here in Islamabad away from home, said that she used going home every week, but after these price hikes, now she plans to go after every month.
