ISLAMABAD: Paul Rudd, the Marvel star, is now everywhere, but there was a time when he believed he didn’t fit in.

The “Ant-Man” star and Judd Apatow regularly says his time as Lisa Kudrow’s partner, Mike Hannigan, in “Friends” led to an appearance in the final episode of one of TV’s most successful sitcoms.

Rudd said on “The Heart” breakfast show, “It was really fun, and they were great!” To be a part of that was surreal, to say the least because I came on at the very end.”

“I never expected to be in as many [episodes] as I was,” he continued. But it was also strange. ‘I shouldn’t be here,’ I thought as I was watching the last episode. I’m getting a front-row seat to things I shouldn’t be seeing.’ They were all crying, it was all emotional, and all I could think was, “Woah!”

Rudd also made a brief appearance in the “Friends” reunion special in 2021, alongside Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, talking about his time as Phoebe Buffay’s boyfriend.
