DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has announced cash rewards for information leading to the identification, location or arrest of more than 80 wanted terrorists, as authorities seek greater public cooperation to strengthen counterterrorism operations.
The appeal, directed particularly at residents of Dera Ismail Khan district, urges citizens to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activities linked to terrorist groups.
Provincial authorities said members of the public who provide credible intelligence that helps security agencies locate or apprehend the wanted individuals will be eligible for financial rewards.
According to the list released by the authorities, the highest reward has been announced for Muhammad Haroon Khan, also known by the aliases Zarrar and Ilyas Gandapur.
Rewards of Rs9 million have been offered for information leading to Muhammad Nawaz (alias Nawazi), Abdul Rahman (also known as Chhota or Mama), and Ayub (alias Ayyubi or Jundallah).
Authorities have also placed Rs7 million rewards on Sher Ali (alias Umar Adil), Mashal (alias Maulvi Asad), Abdul Aziz (alias Khaksar or Talha), and Zakiullah (alias Zaki).
Meanwhile, rewards of Rs6 million have been announced for Iqbal (alias Bale), Imran (alias Khattab), Khalilur Rahman, and Abdul Ghafoor (alias Maulvi Abdul Ghafoor).

The remaining suspects carry rewards ranging from Rs500,000 to Rs3 million, with several individuals listed in intermediate reward categories, reflecting the level of priority assigned by security agencies.
To assist the public in identifying the suspects, the provincial authorities have released photographs of all the wanted terrorists together with the reward amounts attached to each individual.
The announcement forms part of ongoing efforts by Pakistani authorities to encourage public cooperation in counterterrorism operations, particularly in areas that have experienced terrorist activity in recent years.
