ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Caretaker Foreign Minister, Jalil Abbas Jilani, held separate meetings on Wednesday with the Ambassador of Norway to Pakistan, Per Albert Ilsaas, and the Australian High Commissioner in Pakistan, Neil Hawkins.
During these meetings, the discussions focused on enhancing Pakistan’s engagement and cooperation with Norway and Australia, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its official social media platform X.

Earlier today, Senator Vladimir Chizhov, Head of the Pakistan-Russia Friendship Group of the Russian Federation Council, met with Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani. Senator Chizhov is visiting Pakistan as an International Observer for the general elections being held tomorrow.

The Foreign Minister reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to free and fair elections, elaborating on the electoral process and security arrangements for peaceful and transparent elections.
He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to strengthening bilateral cooperation with Russia for the mutual benefit of both countries’ peoples.
