ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed to have arrested three alleged terrorists during operations across the Punjab province.
The terror suspects arrested from Rawalpindi and Gujranwala were identified as Kitab Khan, Irshadul Haq, and Muhammad Arshad Siddiquie.

A heavy quantity of explosives and weapons were also recovered from the suspects’ possession, the CTD claimed.
On a tip-off about the presence of suspects, the CTD carried out several combing operations in different cities, including in Lahore.
During the last week, 23,381 people were screened with the help of modern technology in 471 combing operations across Punjab, the CTD said.
As many as 75 FIRs were registered against the arrested suspects, the CTD said.
