NEW YORK: Pakistani Musician Annural Khalid has risen through the ranks and files to become Spotify’s EQUAL Pakistan Ambassador for July owing to her soulful compositions and heart-touching melodious voice.
As becoming quickly popular amongst her fans, Annural becomes the latest female musician to stand tall on a digital billboard in Times Square, New York.
Meanwhile her track “Trust Issues” was also ranked high on the EQUAL Pakistan playlist on the music streaming service.
Describing herself as having “started singing around the same time I learned how to speak”, Annural Khalid made a a formal debut in 2020 and has since released several tracks while also having joined appearances with some of the key figures in the local music industry.
Annural Khalid lauds Spotify
Annural expressed her excitement with jubilation after knowing to become the ambassador of for the month “I’m so stoked to be Spotify Pakistan’s EQUAL artist for July”.
She said that Spotify has changed the whole scene for musicians and termed Spotify EQUAL as the coolest initiative adding that she never thought people one day would have a platform representing solely women in music, particularly in Pakistan. “It makes you hopeful while being a female musician for the future of music in this region,” she noted.
Being a die-heart fan of Rihanna, Annural is exceptionally passionate and committed to her music. She recalled her first on-stage performance as one of the most curious and memorable experiences in her life.
With an album currently in the pipeline, the Pakistani musician is all set to entertain her fans for a long time to come.
Some of her popular tracks include Mujhe Leh Chal”, “Kehdena”, “Dil de Bol”, “Sohneya Ve” and “Pretty Lies”.
