ISLAMABAD: After having an upward trend for a couple of days, Pakistani Rupee on Friday witnessed a decline of Rs 1.13 against the US Dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs277.59 compared to Rs276.46.

Meanwhile, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the local currency was also influenced a little as the buying and selling rates of dollars in the open market stood at Rs280 and Rs283, respectively.
Pakistani Rupee Against Other Currencies
Like the greenback, the price of the Euro also witnessed an increase by Rs3.18 to close at Rs 311.73 compared to Rs308.55 he last day.
The Japanese Yen increased by 01 paisa to close at Rs2, whereas the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs3.65 in the exchange rate and was traded at Rs364.19 as compared to its last day’s closing of Rs360.54.
The exchange rates of the Saudi Riyal and Emirates Dirham witnessed an increase of 29 paisa and 28 paisa to close at Rs73.98 and Rs75.57, respectively.
