ISLAMABAD: Pakistani Rupee witnessed a slight decrease by Rs1.84 against the US Dollar in the interbank trading on Wednesday and closed at Rs 289.38 compared to Rs 287.54, the last day as reported by the State Bank of Pakistan.

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the greenback in the open market stood were also influenced by a slight margin and were settled in the range of Rs 289 and Rs 292.
Pak Rupee Against Euro, Pound, Dirham, and Riyal
Like the US dollar, the price of the Euro also recorded an increase by Rs 2.71 to close at Rs 317.71 against Rs 315.77, on the last day.
The Japanese Yen increased by 02 paisa to close at Rs 2.03, while the British Pound recorded an increase of Rs 1.84 and was traded at Rs 370.06 as compared to Rs 368.22, on Tuesday.
The exchange rates of the Saudi Riyal and the Emirates Dirham went up by 49 and 50 to settle at Rs 77.12 and 78.78 respectively.
