PESHAWAR: Pakistani martial artist Irfan Mehsood has once again put Pakistan on the global sporting map by setting a new Guinness World Record for performing 38 full-extension one-hand punches in one minute while carrying a 10-kilogram weight, surpassing the target of 30 punches set by the international records body.
The feat was officially certified by Guinness World Records and achieved in Dera Ismail Khan on March 19, 2026, according to the certificate issued to the athlete.
Speaking to media, Mehsood expressed pride in his achievement and dedication to his craft. “The target set by Guinness World Records was 30 punches, which I surpassed to claim the record,” he said, adding that the accomplishment was the result of rigorous training and unwavering focus.
