ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani High Commissioner to Dhaka, Syed Ahmed Maroof, and his delegation visited the central office of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in Moghbazar, Dhaka on Tuesday.
The delegation met Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman.
Relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh have greatly improved in recent months.
Both parties expressed their views on strengthening bilateral relations between the two fraternal nations in the future.
“On Tuesday afternoon, the Pakistani high commissioner and his delegation visited the central office of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in Moghbazar, Dhaka,” according to a press release signed by Jamaat-e-Islami’s Central Publicity Department representative.

During the visit, they engaged in a courtesy meeting and exchanged views.
The discussion covered issues of mutual interest between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Both parties expressed their views on strengthening bilateral relations between the two fraternal nations in the future.
