Pakistani, Czech Heroines Exhibition Inaugurated in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Mushaal Hussain Mallick, Chairperson of the Peace and Culture Organization, on Tuesday inaugurated Pakistani and Czech Heroines exhibition and book launch at the embassy of Czech Republic in Islamabad.

The event was organized by the National Council of Arts (NCA) with the collaboration of the Czech embassy.

Mullick paid tribute to Pakistani and Czech heroines on the occasion. She said that it was a great experience to pay tribute to the dynamic women who have broken all the hurdles in their way.

She said that the heroines of both countries like Malala Yousafzai, a Nobel Laureate, highlighted the soft images of their countries on the world level.

Tomáš Smetánka, Ambassador in Pakistan, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman of Higher Education Commission, Andreas Ferrarese, Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan, Wada Mitsuhiro, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, Rehman Zaad, DG Khana-e-Farhang Iran and other dignitaries attended the event.

Rehana Hussein Mullick, Co-Chairperson of Peace and Culture Organization, and Secretary General Prof Zafar Sindhu also participated in the ceremony. The ceremony was concluded with a musical performance by NCA’s Musicology students. 

Earlier, NCA Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Murtaza Jafri warmly welcomed the guests to the event. – APP
