ISLAMABAD: After an absence of eighteen years, more than twenty Pakistani businessmen representing eleven companies of various fields such as textile, pharmaceutical, sportswear, and food industries participated in the 54th session of the Algeria International Economic Fair, held under the high patronage of the President of Algeria.
Pakistan’s entrepreneurs’ delegation participated in the economic fair under the supervision of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, said a press note released by the Algerian Embassy in Islamabad on Monday.
638 Companies Participate in Algeria International Economic Fair
The Algeria International Economic Fair (AIEF) was attended by 638 companies, including 473 Algerian firms (157) are public institutions, 316 are private institutions, and 165 are foreign from thirty countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Arab region, the statement added.
The statement further said that the participation of Pakistani businessmen was successful and fruitful. It was a positive opportunity to expand ties as well as enhance economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
