ISLAMABAD: Pakistani artificial intelligence and robotics training-data startup World Context has partnered with Multinet Pakistan to strengthen the infrastructure supporting its growing collection of real-world visual data and expand technology links with the United States.
World Context is developing a data supply chain connecting Pakistani factories and industries with robotics companies and research teams in the US and other international markets.
Under the partnership, World Context’s on-ground data collection operations will be supported by Multinet’s cloud, data centre and communications infrastructure, providing storage, security and connectivity for large datasets.
The startup aims to build extensive computer-vision datasets by deploying sensors and mapping local industries, creating data that can be used to train advanced AI and robotic systems.
Connecting Pakistan to global AI ecosystem
World Context CEO Sherdil Ali Khan said the company was working to position Pakistan within the emerging “superintelligence supply chain”, encompassing computing infrastructure, data, AI models and applications.
Khan said high-quality data required secure storage and careful transmission to meet standards demanded by advanced AI laboratories and robotics companies.
Multinet Pakistan CEO Adnan Zaidi said future intelligent systems would increasingly depend on high-quality data, resilient infrastructure and the ability to securely manage information at scale.
