KARACHI: New Zealand was in control at the stumps of Day 4 of the second Test match against Pakistan in Karachi on Thursday as Pakistan lose two wickets on ducks.
For the Kiwis, Ish Sodhi and Tim Southee dismissed Mir Hamza and Abdullah Shafique as Pakistan needed 319 runs to win and level the series.
Earlier, the visiting team declared their innings at 277/5 after Michael Bracewell and Tom Blundell scored 74 runs each.
Moreover, Tom Latham smashed 62 runs while Kane Williamson scored 41.
For Pakistan, Hasan Ali, Naseem Shah, Mir Hamza, Agha Salman and Abrar Ahmaed scalped one wicket each.
