KARACHI: Pakistan Railways has decided to restore three more passenger trains from November 1, following the repair of the railway track affected by the recent massive floods.

According to the details, Pakistan Railway has decided to restore three more trains from the 1st of November, and four will be restored tomorrow (Thursday). Pakistan Railways has decided to restore train operations to overcome the financial losses of millions due to the closure of train operations.

The decrease in floodwater along and over the train tracks is another reason for Pakistan Railway’s decision to restore these trains. A notification issued by Pakistan Railways said it is going to restart the operation of Tezgam Express, Hazara Express, and Baha-ud-Din Zakaria Express and urged the concerned authorities to make arrangements regarding opening reservations.

Pakistan Railways announced the restoration of four trains on October 12, while five trains were already restarted on October 5. Railways tracks were destroyed by flood water and the decision to restore these tracks was made after the repair of these tracks.

The Sibbi-Quetta and Dalbandeen-Quetta, Kotri-Dadu near Sehwan Sharif and Habib Kot-Sibi and Dera Murad Jamali and Jacobabad-Notal sections have also been affected by the floods.
