DUBAI, UAE: Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first against Hong Kong, China in the 11th match of the ACC Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Monday, with the Green Shirts eyeing a place in the semi-finals.
Pakistan have two points from their opening two matches and are currently better placed than Hong Kong, China, who are yet to open their account. However, the result of the match could have a major bearing on the qualification race.

The Green Shirts need a victory to secure their place in the semi-finals. They could also progress if they avoid a heavy defeat that significantly damages their net run rate compared with Hong Kong or Thailand, who are also in contention for qualification.
Pakistan have a net run rate of -0.569, considerably better than Hong Kong’s -3.575, while Thailand are third in the group with two points.
The fixture will also be the first-ever meeting between Pakistan and Hong Kong, China in women’s T20 internationals.
Pakistan have won only two of their last five completed T20Is, while Hong Kong have managed just one victory in their previous five matches. Pakistan’s recent form reads L, W, W, L, L, while Hong Kong have recorded L, L, L, L, W.

Pakistan will be led by Fatima Sana, with Muneeba Ali Siddiqui serving as wicketkeeper. The squad also includes Aliya Riaz, Ayesha Zafar, Eman Naseer, Eyman Fatima, Gull Feroza, Humna Bilal, Momina Riasat, Nashra Sundhu, Saira Jabeen, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Tasmia Rubab, Tuba Hassan and Umm-e-Hani.

Hong Kong, China are captained by Natasha Miles. Their squad comprises Maryam Bibi, Chan Ka Ying, Chan Sau Ha, Chan Shing Yan Dorothea, Iqra Sahar, Joyleen Kaur, Mahekdeep Kaur, Mariko Hill, Marina Lamplough, Ruchitha Venkatesh, Shanzeen Shahzad, Siu Mei Wai, Wong Wing Kiu Hailey and Yasmin Daswani.
With both teams still in contention for the semi-finals, the match is expected to produce a high-pressure contest, particularly for Pakistan, who will look to make their superior position count and secure their place in the knockout stage.
