Pakistan: Gold Rates Up by Rs.2,200 to Rs. 222,800 per Tola

ISLAMABAD: On Thursday, the cost of 24-carat gold per tola surged by Rs.2,200, reaching Rs.222,800, compared to the previous trading day’s rate of Rs.220,600.

Simultaneously, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold rose by Rs.1,886, reaching Rs.191,015 from its previous value of Rs.189,129.

According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the rates for 10 grams of 22-carat gold also experienced an upward shift, rising to Rs.175,097 from Rs.173,368.

In the domestic market, the values per tola and ten grams of silver remained steady at Rs.2,680 and Rs.2,297.66, respectively.

Internationally, the price of gold saw a $20 increase, climbing to $2,105 from its previous rate of $2,085, as reported by the Association. —APP
