DUBAI: Pakistan’s Consul General in Dubai, Hussain Muhammad, has praised the visionary leadership of the United Arab Emirates for its unwavering commitment to educational excellence and innovation.
He was addressing the World Champion Recognition Ceremony in CENTURY Tech Challenge 2026 at the English Language Private School (ELPS), Dubai, a statement issued by the Consulate General said on Wednesday.
He added that the Pakistani community deeply values the opportunities extended by the UAE and acknowledged that achievements like those celebrated at ELPS are made possible by the country’s sustained emphasis on education and human development.
The ceremony celebrated ELPS’s achievement of securing the global No. 1 ranking in the CENTURY Spring Challenge 2026, where it emerged as world champion among more than one million learners from over 1,500 schools across 70 countries.
Addressing the gathering, the Consul General congratulated the school management, principal, teachers, students and parents on the remarkable international achievement. He said the accomplishment was a source of great pride not only for the institution but also for the Pakistani community in the UAE.
The Consul General praised the students for their dedication, commitment and hard work, which helped the school earn global recognition. He also appreciated the efforts of the principal, teachers and staff in creating an academic environment that promotes excellence and achievement.
Emphasising the importance of education, the Consul General said education remains the foundation for building prosperous, peaceful and progressive societies.
