BRUSSELS: Pakistan and Azerbaijan have agreed to further deepen their bilateral cooperation in all sectors, especially the peaceful use of nuclear technology.
The understanding was reached during a meeting between Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and his Azerbaijan counterpart Bayramov Jeyhun on the margins of the Nuclear Energy Summit in Brussels, Belgium.
They discussed ways to enhance cooperation for the peaceful use of nuclear energy in agriculture and health sector.
Both foreign ministers noted that the two nations have already been successfully collaborating in nuclear applications in agriculture.
Pakistan, Azerbaijan Resolve to Combat Climate Change
They reaffirmed the resolve to combat climate change through the use of nuclear energy.
Ishaq Dar expressed Islamabad’s readiness to share experience and expertise in peaceful uses of Nuclear Technology with Azerbaijan.
