ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army on Friday arranged a cultural symposium for the protection of regional language, culture, and traditions in Bajaur district.
Renowned poets from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) participated in the symposium, the state-run news channel reported.
The local singers presented Pashto language and its historical importance in their own style through folk music.
Books, handicrafts at symposium
Over 75 paintings by different artists were also exhibited in the symposium, while stalls of handicrafts, books, and local products were also set up.
The event was aimed at raising awareness amongst the local youth about the importance of Pashto culture and its history.
