ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) have agreed to take necessary measures towards declaring Islamabad and Riyadh as twin cities.
The two sides made the agreement during a meeting between Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Saudi Deputy Interior Minister Nasser bin Abdul Aziz Al Dawood, in Islamabad on Wednesday, Radio Pakistan reported.
The Interior Minister said that zero tolerance policy has been adopted against beggars going to the Kingdom. The Minister said an effective crackdown has been launched across Pakistan against such beggar mafia.
The two sides also discussed mutual exchanges of Police and Paramilitary Forces Joint Training.
They also agreed to implement the prisoner exchange agreement, saying the legal process for the repatriation of four hundred and nineteen Pakistani prisoners in the Kingdom will be completed soon.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, in his remarks said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is our fraternal country, assuring complete cooperation for promotion of bilateral ties, according to APP.
Naqvi lauded Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Vision 2030, expressing confidence that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will emerge as a global leader in economic and social sectors under the current leadership.
There is no visa requirement for Saudi citizens to visit Pakistan and they can come to Pakistan whenever they want to, said Mohsin Naqvi.
On his part, the Saudi Deputy Interior Minister said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wants to further promote its relations with Pakistan.
Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki was also attended the meeting.
