SEOUL: North Korea’s President Kim Jong Un called for an aggressive increase in the country’s nuclear arsenal, including new powerful missiles for “nuclear counter strikes,” a state news agency reported on Sunday.

In a report issued after a crucial party meeting, Kim Jong Un called for an exponential increase of North Korea’s nuclear arms,” the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.
The report added that the country would also “develop another ICBM (intercontinental ballistic missile) system whose main mission is quick nuclear counterstrike.”
