RIYADH: Several Arab and Muslim countries have strongly condemned drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia’s East-West oil pipeline in the Riyadh and Madinah regions, warning that attacks on vital civilian and energy infrastructure pose a serious threat to regional security and energy supplies.
Pakistan, Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Egypt, Oman, Kuwait and Mauritania and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Muslim World League (MWL) and OIC States Broadcasting Union (OSBU) strongly condemned the attacks and voiced support for Saudi Arabia.

Pakistan reaffirms solidarity with Saudi Arabia
Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks caused damage to the pipeline and resulted in injuries to civilians. In a statement issued on Saturday, the ministry expressed solidarity with the leadership, government and people of Saudi Arabia.
The Foreign Office said targeting civilian infrastructure was unacceptable and represented a violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Pakistan reaffirmed its support for Saudi Arabia’s security, sovereignty and prosperity, saying the two countries share close and longstanding relations.

The ministry said such attacks pose serious risks to peace and stability in the region and stressed the importance of protecting critical infrastructure from security threats.
“Pakistan reaffirms its unwavering support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, security and prosperity of the Kingdom,” the Foreign Office said. Pakistan said it would continue efforts aimed at promoting lasting peace and stability in the region.

Qatar strongly condemns flagrant violation of international law
Qatar strongly condemned the targeting of the East-West pipeline in the Riyadh and Madinah regions.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that targeting civilian and economic facilities constitutes a condemnable act, a flagrant violation of international law, and a dangerous escalation that undermines the security and stability of the region.
The ministry commended the Kingdom’s responsible approach in supporting the Iraqi government’s efforts to prevent its territory from being used to launch attacks against the Kingdom and neighbouring countries.
The ministry expressed the State of Qatar’s full solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for all measures taken to protect its sovereignty, security and facilities.
Egypt strongly condemns attacks
Egypt strongly condemned attacks targeting a pipeline in Riyadh and Madinah regions, describing them as a flagrant violation of international law that undermines regional security and stability.
In a statement issued today, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Cairo’s full solidarity with the Kingdom and reiterated its steadfast support for all measures taken to safeguard Saudi Arabia’s security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
Oman affirms full solidarity with Saudi Arabia
Oman strongly condemned and denounced the targeting of the East-West pipeline in Riyadh and Madinah regions, reaffirming its steadfast rejection of all attacks on civilian and vital infrastructure regardless of motives or justifications.
In a statement issued by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs and carried by the Oman News Agency today, the Sultanate affirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and backed all measures taken by the Kingdom to safeguard its territory, protect its critical infrastructure, and preserve its security and stability.
Oman stressed the imperative of respecting state sovereignty and territorial integrity while avoiding any actions that threaten regional security. It urged all parties to exercise restraint, prioritise constructive dialogue, and resolve underlying issues through political and diplomatic channels.
Kuwait strongly condemns ‘flagrant violation of Saudi sovereignty’
Kuwait strongly condemned and denounced the targeting of the East-West pipeline in Riyadh and Madinah regions.
In a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the assault as a flagrant violation of Saudi sovereignty, a breach of international and humanitarian laws, and a direct threat to global energy security.
The ministry warned that such actions mark a dangerous escalation undermining regional stability and stressed the necessity for the Iraqi government to take decisive measures to ensure its territory is not used as a launchpad for cross-border attacks, urging Baghdad to halt these operations and prevent their recurrence.
Kuwait reaffirmed its absolute solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, fully backing all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, stability, and vital national interests.
OIC States Broadcasting strongly condemns attacks
The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) States Broadcasting Union (OSBU) strongly condemned the attacks targeting the East-West pipeline in Riyadh and Madinah regions, expressing full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures taken to preserve its security and deter aggression.
The union voiced its categorical rejection of attacks targeting civilian infrastructure and vital facilities and reaffirmed its steadfast support for the Kingdom’s leadership, government, and people in confronting all threats to its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
OSBU President Dr. Amr El-Leithy emphasised that the security and stability of Saudi Arabia remain integral to the overall security of the Islamic world, urging the international community to take a firm stand against such hostile acts.
MWL condemns ‘criminal attacks’ on East-West Pipeline
The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned the attack on the East-West Pipeline in the Riyadh and Madinah regions by several drones launched from Iraq.
In a statement issued by the General Secretariat, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organisation of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa renewed his condemnation of these treacherous criminal attacks, which violate all religious values, international and humanitarian laws, and norms.
On behalf of the MWL’s global bodies, councils, and assemblies, as well as all Muslim peoples under its umbrella, he affirmed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to deter the aggressors, safeguard its security and sovereignty, and protect the safety of its citizens and residents.
Bahrain strongly condemns attacks
Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the targeting of the East-West oil pipeline. Bahrain called the attack a flagrant violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good-neighbourliness, as well as an attack on vital civilian facilities affecting the security of energy supplies.
The ministry affirmed Bahrain’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, stressing that its security and stability are an integral part of Bahrain’s security and stability. It underscored the Kingdom’s right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, security, facilities, citizens, and residents in accordance with international law, and expressed wishes for the speedy recovery of those injured.
The ministry stressed the need to prevent the territory of any state from being used as a launchpad for attacks against neighbouring countries, affirming its support for the efforts of the Republic of Iraq to prevent the recurrence of such attacks. It also called on the international community to fulfil its responsibilities in confronting these hostile attacks aimed at undermining energy security and destabilising regional security and stability.
Jordan condemns flagrant violation of Saudi sovereignty
Jordan condemned the attack on the East-West Pipeline, describing it as a flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, a threat to its security and stability, and a blatant breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.
In a statement, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its strong support for all measures the Kingdom has taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, resources, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
GCC chief strongly condemns attacks on East-West Pipeline
Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi strongly condemned the targeting of the East-West Pipeline.
He affirmed that the attack represents a dangerous escalation and an unacceptable threat to Saudi Arabia’s security and the safety of its territory and vital facilities, constituting a flagrant violation of the principles of international law.

He stressed the GCC’s categorical rejection of all acts targeting the Kingdom’s security, stability, and national resources.
The GCC secretary-general underscored the importance of the Iraqi government exerting greater efforts and taking necessary and decisive measures to prevent its territory from being used as a launchpad for such attacks, and working to halt and prevent their recurrence, thereby helping preserve the region’s security and stability and preventing further escalation.
He reiterated the GCC’s full and steadfast support for Saudi Arabia and its complete backing of all measures and actions taken by the Kingdom to protect its security and stability, the safety of its territory and vital facilities, and its citizens and residents.
Saudi Arabia strongly condemns attacks
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed in the strongest terms the Kingdom’s condemnation of the targeting of the East-West Pipeline, resulting in injuries and some damage that is currently being addressed.

In a statement, the ministry stated: “The Kingdom clarifies that, following a request from the prime minister of Iraq to give the brotherly Iraqi government the opportunity to take the necessary measures to prevent attacks launched from Iraqi territory against Saudi Arabia and neighbouring countries, the Kingdom has opted not to respond at this stage and to support the efforts of the Iraqi government.”
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia affirmed that it reserves the right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, security, facilities, citizens, and residents.
Mauritania strongly condemns attacks
Mauritania strongly condemned the attacks targeting the East-West oil pipeline and vital facilities in Saudi Arabia, reaffirming its full solidarity with the Kingdom in confronting these assaults.
In a statement issued today, the Mauritanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its categorical rejection of any actions targeting civilian and strategic infrastructure or undermining Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. The ministry emphasised Nouakchott’s unwavering support for the Kingdom in countering threats to its security and stability.
