BISHKEK: The “Muras” futsal tournament, with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov, commenced in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on Friday.
Running from December 8-9, the tournament includes 16 teams categorized into four groups. Participants represent various sectors, including cultural figures, entrepreneurs, media representatives, sports veterans, legislators, regional governors, city mayors, district heads, clergy members, hospital directors, school principals, university rectors, judiciary representatives, law enforcement heads, notable athletes, diaspora leaders of the People’s Assembly, and bank executives.
President of Kyrgyzstan Japarov highlighted that the tournament not only encourages a healthy lifestyle but also fosters unity and solidarity.
The quarterfinals, semifinals, and final matches are scheduled for tomorrow, December 9.
