DAMMAM: The major joint air exercise “Spears of Victory 2026” concluded on Friday at the Air Warfare Centre in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia with the participation of several nations.
The Saudi Armed Forces, the Ministry of National Guard, the Presidency of State Security, and the GCC Unified Military Command, air forces from several brotherly and friendly nations attended the exercise, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The Air Warfare Centre in Saudi Arabia is one of the region’s most advanced training facilities, providing a sophisticated environment that simulates real operational conditions and supports the development and evaluation of combat capabilities.
The exercise included advanced simulations of joint tactical operations, incorporating electronic and cyber warfare scenarios to assess modern military tactics in a multidimensional setting.
Through the execution of high-precision missions, participating forces improved their combat readiness, sharpened operational coordination, and reinforced international military partnerships in support of regional and global security.
It is pertinent to mention that the Pakistan Air Force contingent, including advanced F-16 Block-52 fighter aircraft, also took part in the multinational air combat exercise.
In recent years, the two countries have significantly expanded military cooperation through joint exercises, training exchanges, and formal defence agreements, including the signing of a mutual defence cooperation pact last year.
