MAKKAH: The Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites has advanced its preparations for Hajj 1447 AH by transitioning into the critical field operations phase, marking a key milestone in readiness efforts for the annual pilgrimage.

In a statement, the Commission said the move reflects a broader strategy to enhance operational performance and strengthen coordination among all agencies involved in serving pilgrims, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The field phase builds on year-round institutional planning, which has included the development of operational frameworks, comprehensive plan reviews, and alignment across multiple sectors. Authorities have also focused on preparing key sites and boosting readiness levels to meet the demands of the upcoming Hajj season.

Central to these efforts is a coordinated approach to crowd management and movement التنظيم, ensuring that pilgrims can navigate the holy sites efficiently and safely. Continuous collaboration between relevant entities remains a cornerstone of the strategy, aimed at improving both service delivery and overall safety standards.

Officials emphasized that the transition to on-ground operations underscores a commitment to creating a high-efficiency environment where pilgrims can perform their religious rituals with ease and peace of mind.

The Commission is expected to complete the remaining phases of its operational plan in the coming weeks, culminating in a formal announcement confirming full readiness of all systems and infrastructure associated with Hajj 1447.
