Madinah Festival Showcases Cultural Diversity from Over 90 Nations

MADINAH: The 14th International Cultural Festival hosted by the Islamic University of Madinah has attracted wide international participation, bringing together diplomats, officials and representatives from across the globe in a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity.

The event welcomed ambassadors and country delegates alongside visitors who explored pavilions representing more than 90 nations. Each pavilion offered a glimpse into the traditions, customs and heritage of participating countries, creating a dynamic platform for cultural dialogue and exchange, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.

A key highlight of the festival was a series of performances by university students, who showcased traditional music, dance and artistic expressions from their respective homelands. These performances reflected the richness of global cultures and underscored the role of youth in promoting cross-cultural understanding.

Attendees praised the high standard of organisation, noting that the festival successfully brought together a wide array of cultures in a cohesive and engaging environment. Many also commended the Islamic University of Madinah for fostering connections between different communities and promoting mutual respect through cultural engagement.
