KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait has strongly condemned what it described as repeated acts of Iranian aggression against its territory, calling the attacks a blatant violation of the country’s sovereignty and international law.

In a statement, Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its “strongest denunciation” of the incidents, accusing Iran of carrying out actions that infringe upon the state’s territorial integrity and undermine regional stability.

The ministry said the attacks not only violated Kuwait’s sovereignty but also threatened ongoing regional and international efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the Middle East.

It warned that such actions represented a direct challenge to the broader international consensus in favour of de-escalation and diplomatic engagement.

Reaffirming Kuwait’s commitment to safeguarding its national interests, the ministry stressed that the country reserves the full right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, maintain its security and stability, and ensure the safety of both its citizens and residents.

The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions, with Gulf states closely monitoring developments that could further destabilise the security situation across the region.
