MOGADISHU: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 17,120 rice bags for needy families in Somalia, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
The initiative benefited a total of 110,920 people, which was part of the project to distribute Zakat Al-Fitr in Somalia for the current Islamic year.
The project aims to distribute 40,920 bags of rice to support 40,920 families or 245,520 individuals.
The program is part of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to end the suffering of affected communities and those in need in many countries across the world.
