RIYADH: The Saudi aid agency, KSrelief, continues its mission of supporting education by distributing 3,600 school bags in various districts of Somalia, including Waberi, Hamar Weyne, Hamar Jajab, and Shangani. This initiative is part of a larger project focused on securing and distributing stationery for students in Somalia.
As a testament to Saudi Arabia’s commitment to humanitarian aid, KSrelief’s efforts aim to enhance the educational environment, providing essential study supplies for both male and female students in need. Additionally, a recent visit by a KSrelief team to Amman, Jordan, showcased ongoing collaborative efforts with the International Medical Corps. The joint project focuses on enhancing the lives of refugees and the host community. Specifically, it emphasizes delivering crucial mental health and child protection services to vulnerable individuals, including approximately 2,800 people residing in the host community and Syrian refugee families in Jordan.
