PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Chief Minister, Muhammad Azam Khan, has announced that the programme for evacuating foreign nationals staying illegally in the province has been finalized and that anyone who plays with the evacuation process will face legal repercussions.
In a statement released on Thursday, Muhammad Azam Khan stated that the people can return willingly by November 1 and that the provincial government will provide them with all the assistance they need.
The minister said that from November 1, authorities will take legal action, and returns will be made from designated locations.

CM KP said that the administration would arrange food and temporary accommodation for older people, children, and women at these designated locations according to the laws and traditions.
He added that currently, arrangements are being made at temporary locations in Haripur, Landi Kotal, and Peshawar. Azam Khan said a program has also been made for foreigners in other provinces.
Health facilities, including medicines, would also be provided, and doctors and medical teams would be posted temporarily at these temporary places, he said
According to Azam Khan, the government hopes for a peaceful return of these people. He said the residents are urged to refrain from providing refuge to foreign nationals residing illegally. —APP
