ISLAMABAD: According to a US Central Command statement on Friday, a total of three kamikaze or one-way drones targeted a garrison where American and coalition forces are stationed. The garrison is part of an outpost in Al Tanf region of Syria.

According to the statement, one of the drones struck the garrison which injured two members of the Syrian Free Army and received medical treatment.

It is not known exactly how many soldiers were stationed when the attack took place. However, it is well-known that around 900 Americans are deployed in Syria to aid Syrian Democratic Forces.
