Saudi Jewelry Exhibition Commences with Over 100 International Brands

RIYADH: Fahd bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Rasheed, Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) CEO and Board of Directors of Saudi Conventions and Exhibitions General Authority (SCEGA) Chairman, inaugurated the Saudi Jewelry exhibition under the theme of Be’ Jeweled in Riyadh on Tuesday. The exhibition will run until 10 December.

It attracted over 100 international brands of ornaments companies, specialists and experts in jewelry, and exhibitors from over seventeen companies.

The exhibition aimed to host different panel discussions and workshops to educate designers and other ornament lovers. A gemstone laboratory, experimental and fun events are also included in the list.

Amjad bin Essam Shaker, Acting CEO of SCEGA, expressed his happiness with the inauguration of this important exhibition and said that it would be a great platform for jewelry dealers, goldsmiths, and jewelry lovers.

Saudi Arabia’s jewelry showcased

He said that such activities are important to enable Saudi Arabia to prove itself an attractive destination for international conferences, exhibitions, and other events. It would help to accelerate the growth of domestic industry and to advance national economy in accordance of Vision 2030, a big initiative of Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.  

He added that the exhibition will introduce to the world new ornament designs, which will strengthen the Saudi efforts to further highlight its soft image in the world. –APP/SPA
