ISLAMABAD/MUMBAI: Famous Indian star Jackie Shroff has finally joined the cast of Rajinikanth’s much-anticipated film ‘Jailer’; his first look from the movie has been revealed, as the makers of the movie, Sun Pictures, through their Twitter handle, officially announced the news.
This will not be the first collaboration between the two legendary actors. Rajini and Jackie acted together in 1987 in Uttar Dakshin and in 2014 in Kochadaiiyaan.

They shared the 1st look of Jackie from the movie and wrote: “Jackie on the set of Jailer.” In the poster, Jackie looks intense as ever.
Previously, actor Tamannaah Bhatia also joined the star cast of the movie. She, alongside Thalaivar, will play a small role in the movie.
Film Jailer is an action-thriller film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and backed by Sun Pictures. The film will mark Nelson’s first collaboration with the superstar of India.
The movie also features; Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, and Vinayakan. Meanwhile, Shiva Rajkumar and Mohanlal will have a cameo appearance.
IndiaToday reported that Rajinikanth’s most prominent film of the year, Jailer, is all set to release in theatres this year.
