ISLAMABAD/RAMALLAH: Palestinian health officials have said that Israeli forces martyred two Palestinians, including a man during a confrontation that erupted on Monday when Israeli troops entered the Palestinian village in the occupied West Bank.
Two men martyred
According to the Arab News, the 2 men were martyred in the village of Kafr Dan near the city of Jenin. Israeli forces said that it entered Kafr Dan Sunday to demolish a house of two Palestinian gunmen who martyred an Israeli soldier during a firefight in September.
Palestinian Health Ministry identified those martyred as Samer Houshiyeh, 21, and Fouad Abed, 25. Houshiyeh was shot many times in the chest, a director of the Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin. Attiyeh said that Abed was 17, but a ministry later gave his age as 25. Israel captured the West Bank, along with east Jerusalem and Gaza Strip, in the 1967 Mideast war.
