ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police have set up twenty-five new check posts at different points of the city to enhance security and avoid any untoward situation, following the recent explosion in I-10 sector.
All vehicles at the entry and exit points will be thoroughly checked and suspicious elements would be closely monitored, police sources said.
Strict legal action would be taken against unregistered vehicles and cars having non-sample number plates.
Advisory to foreign nationals in Islamabad
Meanwhile, foreigners living in Islamabad have also been advised to keep identity documents while traveling in the city.
The locals have also been advised to register their employees and tenants in the nearby police stations.
