Interim Prime Minister, Prime Minister of Malaysia call for halt on Israel’s tyranny in Gaza

RIYADH: Interim Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar met Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim on the sidelines of the Joint Arab Islamic Emergency Summit in Riyadh.

The prime minister reiterated Pakistan’s strong condemnation of the ongoing brutal campaign by Israeli army against the Palestinian in Gaza. Leaders stressed the urgency of calling for an end to ongoing Israeli brutalities that have resulted in massive loss of precious lives and forced displacement.

Prime Minister Kakar and Prime Minister Ibrahim also reviewed the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Malaysia with a special focus on enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries. Prime Minister Kakar informed his Malaysian counterpart of the establishment of the Special Investment Facilitation Council, which worked on a whole-of-government approach to facilitate foreign investment in the country and ensure ease of doing business.

The two representatives also highlighted the revitalization of the joint ministerial commission, cooperation in the vocational education sector and the export of manpower as key areas for further cooperation.
