ISLAMABAD/KARACHI: Following the increase in sales tax, Honda Atlas Cars has further increased the price of its completely knocked down (CKD) models.

The carmaker cited the devaluation of the Pakistani rupee against the United States dollar, a volatile business situation, and an increase in sales tax as three primary reasons behind its decision to increase the price by up to Rs550,000.
Honda Atlas Jacks Up Thrice
Since January 2023, this was the third time the Honda Atlashas raised the price of its CKD models.
The new retail sale price would apply to all new orders booked from February 18 and onwards, the company said.

A 1 percent additional sales tax would be applied on all back orders with complete payment as per February 6 price raise letter conditions.
The automaker further mentioned all unclear back orders (except civic) as on February 17, 2023, due till March 23, can be invoiced if they deposit their full payment (February 6 price + 1 percent additional sales tax) by February 27 (instrument date till February 27).
The aforementioned rates are subject to change, and prices prevailing at the time of delivery would be final, as the customers will bear any change in government levies and taxes.
A day earlier, Honda Atlas also notified an increase in the prices of its motorcycles.
