PESHAWAR: The funeral prayer of the mother of CEO WENews Amjad Aziz Malik and President of the Peshawar Press Club and Resident Editor of Daily Jang, Arshad Aziz Malik, was offered in Peshawar on Tuesday evening.
The funeral prayer was attended by a large number of people, including government officials, journalists, and members of the local community. Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi and other senior political leaders also attended the funeral prayers. The deceased was laid to rest in Peshawar.
Amjad Aziz Malik, who is also AIPS Executive Committee member and Secretary General of AIPS ASIA, was awarded the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence) by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in recognition of his remarkable and steadfast dedication to serving the nation.
