ISLAMABAD: At a Mexican airport, a package with four human skulls was discovered. The parcel was set to be sent to the US via courier, local authorities announced on Friday.
A Mexican National Guard’s statement that the discovery was made at central Mexico’s Queretaro Intercontinental Airport. It added that aluminum foil was used to wrap the skulls inside a cardboard box.

Furthermore, the statement revealed that its sender was based in Mexico’s Michoacan state which is considered to be one of the most violent parts of the country. The package’s destination was in South Carolina’s Manning city.

The national guard said a special permit was needed from the relevant health body to transfer human remains. It said this permit, had not been obtained by the sender.
The transfer of human remains requires a special permit from a competent health authority which was not obtained, it said.
