RIYADH: Egypt and Jordan have strongly condemned the Houthi attack on Dammam Airport in Saudi Arabia, affirming absolute solidarity with the Kingdom.

Egypt’s Foreign Ministry, in a statement, expressed its strong condemnation of the Houthi attack on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, which resulted in the deaths of two civilians and left several others injured, as an act that constitutes a continued violation of international law and an indiscriminate, irresponsible targeting of air traffic, civilian facilities, and civilians, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

Egypt underscored its categorical rejection of such actions, which serve to fuel the crisis, escalate tensions, and destabilize the region.

Furthermore, Egypt reaffirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its leadership in defending its territory and citizens, emphasising that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of both Arab and Egyptian national security.
