ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Police’s “Knock the Door” campaign is in full swing, dedicated to streamlining the registration process for domestic workers and tenants.

As part of this initiative, teams from the Islamabad Capital Police are actively hitting the streets, conducting door-to-door visits to facilitate the registration of tenants and domestic workers. Concurrently, they are addressing any concerns or inquiries raised by the citizens.

Over the past 24 hours, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Islamabad has compiled data on 108 house servants from 447 residences within the jurisdiction of the Sumbal Police Station.

The primary goal of this campaign is to bolster public safety and maintain law and order in the federal capital. Registering tenants and domestic workers not only aids in keeping a vigilant eye on potential wrongdoers but also acts as a deterrent to any suspicious activities.

Citizens are strongly encouraged to verify the identity of anyone in civilian clothing approaching their doorstep for data collection.

Unregistered employees and tenants may be involved in serious incidents, such as theft and robbery, by pretending to be ordinary citizens.

The Islamabad Capital Police is unwavering in its commitment to utilizing all available resources to ensure the safety and security of the residents of the federal capital. —APP
