PRAGUE: Czech and Turkish defence ministers discussed bilateral and regional security and defense matters on Sunday, Turkish authorities said.
Jana Cernochova welcomed her Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar in a military ceremony in the capital Prague.
National Defence Ministry of Turkiye said in a statement that the two leaders also addressed matters related to cooperation in the defence ministry.
Akar meets Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala
Following his meeting with Cernochova, Akar also met Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala and stressed the importance of developing bilateral cooperation, especially in the defence field and military training.
