ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court on Friday asked the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) to submit fresh plea to the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration if it intends to hold public gathering in the federal capital.
The direction came during hearing of a petition regarding the possible inconvenience due to the PTI long march. it was being feared that the long march will cause inconvenience to the public once the marchers enter Islamabad. Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Aamer Farooq said that the administration must ensure no closure of roads if the permission for the public meeting is granted to the PTI. “The ICT administration must ensure that the rights of the people do not get violated,” the IHC CJ noted.
