ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is all set to hold much-awaited general elections on February 8, 2024 to bring new elected government to power.
As all eyes are set at the transparency of polls, the Commonwealth Observer Group (COB) including representatives of world’s leading media outlets such as BBC, CNN, Sky News, ITV, and Aljazeera will monitor the election process.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has formally invited them to monitor the elections.
It is hoped that the Commonwealth Observer Group will play a vital role in ensuring a transparent and successful election in the country.

Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (Nigeria), Dr Lainet Damaris (Australia), Barbara Malimali (Fiji), Nazima Natasha (Kenya), Aimen Rashid (Maldives), Anahila Lose (New Zealand), Mohammad Mhdoom (Sri Lanka), Brian Speers (UK), and Sara Lucky Flood (Saint Lucia) are among the members of Commonwealth Observer Group to monitor the elections in Pakistan.
