BEIJING: Liaoning Petrochemical College in North Eastern China launched a training program for Pakistani employees at Shandong Zhongyang Group to study in China.
Addressing the launching ceremony, Yu Zhongdang, the college president, expressed gratitude to Liaoning Province’s Department of Education, the Embassy of Pakistan in China, Shandong Zhongyang Group, and Tang International Education Group for their steadfast support. He warmly welcomed all Pakistani students participating in the training, as reported by Chinese media.
Yu highlighted the college’s role in providing technical skills training for foreign employees of Chinese enterprises and its robust support for Shandong Zhongyang Group’s Nigerian Petrochemical Industrial Park project. These efforts align with the college’s commitment to implementing reforms in vocational education, aiming for breakthroughs in Liaoning’s three-year revitalization plan.
The college plans to maximize its talent and training resources, deploying experienced teachers tailored to enterprise safety requirements and involving industry experts directly. Courses will be scheduled to optimize learning outcomes.
Focusing on natural gas methanol production processes, the college aims to leverage its strengths in the petroleum and chemical sectors to benefit Chinese-funded enterprises.
The initiative seeks to establish a vocational education model centered on international collaboration, promoting China’s vocational education standards and cultivating skilled professionals fluent in Chinese, well-versed in Chinese culture, and adept in their craft—essential qualities for participants in the Belt and Road Initiative.
