Flight-test phase
According to the AVIC, it signified that the special-mission aircraft had formally entered the flight-test phase necessary to get the type certificate. The AG600M planes will first be modified to undergo flying tests at the flight test center.
The AVIC stated that other test works, including the static test and others, have also been started. The AG600 aircraft family, codenamed Kunlong, or “water dragon” in Chinese, is being developed for emergency rescue operations.
