BEIJING: After meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Monday, President Xi Jinping expressed China’s commitment to further bolstering its strategic cooperation with Belarus.
Xi expressed China’s readiness to bolster coordination and collaboration with Belarus across various multilateral platforms, including the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, as reported by the official news agency Xinhua.
Furthermore, Xi conveyed to Lukashenko the necessity for both nations to enhance cross-border transportation facilitation, stimulate economic and trade relations, and encourage cultural exchanges, according to Xinhua.
In addition, the Chinese leader emphasized the importance of implementing initiatives like the China-Belarus industrial park and fostering industrial cooperation between Beijing and the Eastern European nation.
