ISLAMABAD: The certificate awarding ceremony at the National University of Technology (NUTECH) was organized under the Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development Programme and joint international certification with Finland and Japan.
Federal Minister for Education Rana Tanveer Hussain was the chief guest on the occasion. While interacting with students, parents, and faculty, Rana Tanveer Hussain said that these programmes, which have been initiated by the government of Pakistan, like business land and skills scholarships which come under the Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development Program will make students able to independent entrepreneurs and job creators.
Some students received certificates in international collaborations. Rana Tanveer appreciated the students. He also appreciated NUTECH, saying it is a great platform enabling youngsters to learn hi-tech skills and create employment opportunities and economic activities by starting their businesses.
‘’Government initiative programs like business loans and skills scholarships under Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development Program will enable students to become job creators and independent entrepreneurs.” Federal minister Rana Tanveer added.
The Ambassador of Finland also attended the event. He was present at the event with leading industrialists. The Rector of the university Lt Gen (Retd) Moazzam Ejaz, stressed on the needs of our industry and explained to the honorable guests a future plan of NUTECH.
Later, Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain and the Rector of the University later visited NUTECH labs, library, and classrooms. In the end, the Chief Guest congratulated all the students on completing their certification courses.
Around 244 students completed certification courses under Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development international certification. This course aims to prepare Pakistani youth for the local and international market.
