BERLIN, Germany: US President Joe Biden is set to meet with leaders from Germany, France, and Britain in Berlin on Saturday to address pressing issues concerning the Middle East and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

This meeting is part of a three-day state visit to Germany, starting October 10, during which Biden will also engage in talks with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

Following the initial discussions, Biden will join German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron, and British leader Keir Starmer at the US air base in Ramstein. This meeting aims to strategize on military support for Ukraine and will include Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and over 50 allied leaders.

The timing of these discussions is critical, especially with the upcoming US presidential election in November, where Biden’s commitment to Ukraine faces scrutiny from Republican candidates, particularly Donald Trump, who has criticized US financial support for Ukraine. Zelensky is expected to advocate for further military assistance as Ukraine continues to confront Russian advances .
